its great, but the lighting feels a bit weird to me. The ground is lit by a huge light source coming from far away behind the "monument". Shouldn't this light affect the back of the monument ?

Pros:
I like how you've turned a living being into an immobilized monument and how the atmosphere it creates has few hints of indignity or submission (at least, to me). The man and the shapes merge very well, although I had expected the person to be female.
Cons:
The lighting of the subject and background seems inconsistent, inversed even. It doesn't always allow my eye to rest on the subject. Although that's probably not the case for every viewer.
Overall opinion/feedback:
I like subtle touch of surrealism compared to most of your other, very surreal scenes. I like how this is almost a fully realistic scenes, but just not entirely.
